Rocket Phonics Online just got better – fine-tune your phonics lessons
Following customer feedback, we’re excited to announce a series of improvements to Rocket Phonics Online.
First up…
The Rocket Phonics Intervention Toolkit provides a clear Intervention Framework, based on the Teaching and Learning Cycle, to help schools deliver effective phonics catch-up support with confidence. (Available in Rocket Phonics Online and Rocket Phonics Next Steps Online).
It combines two complementary approaches:
A practical resource for both new and experienced staff, the toolkit supports the planning and delivery of phonics interventions that drive measurable progress.

These short online videos are presented by the author Abigail Steel and include an introduction to the programme and its pedagogy, as well as an explanation of the teaching learning cycle, and how to use the components.

Rocket Phonics games with timers now have a toggle option to turn off the timer for learners who require interactive phonics practice without time pressure.
