Why have you rebranded from Hodder Education to Hachette Learning?
Hodder Education has been a trusted leader in educational solutions since 1868, and we’re growing fast. To support this growth, and meet the diverse needs of our customers, we've aligned more closely to our parent company, Hachette Livre. As Hachette Learning, we're in a better positioned to deliver high-quality learning solutions on a global scale. Making it easier for everyone to unlock a new world of learning.
When will the rebrand take full effect?
From December, you’ll see Hachette Learning branding across our social channels, website and email communications, as well as our feeds such as ONIX, Pub Easy, Batch and Nielsen.
From January 2025, the Hachette Learning logo will appear on new publishing and products. However, for a period of time, you may also see John Catt and Hodder Education logos on some covers as we transition to the new branding.
Have your products or services changed as part of the rebrand?
While our name has changed, it's business as usual for our customers. The way you use our products and services remain the same, and we’ll continue to deliver the same high-quality solutions and collaborative learning experiences you’d expect from Hodder Education.
Are the current titles or series still available under the new brand?
Yes, all current titles and series remain available under the new brand. While our name has changed to Hachette Learning, the quality and availability of our resources remains the same.
Are older titles branded Hodder Education still valid?
Yes, these titles are still valid and will remain in print during our transition to Hachette Learning. There may be some overlap where older brands and imprints, such as Hodder Education, are still in circulation. Rest assured, if a title is available under the Hodder Education brand, it remains valid until a new specification requires a new edition. At that point, the updated edition will be published under the Hachette Learning name.
Why do some books still feature the Hodder Education and John Catt logos?
While we have rebranded to Hachette Learning, the Hodder Education and John Catt names are well-known by our UK Secondary customers. So, to ensure familiarity during this transition, you'll still see the Hodder Education and John Catt logos featured alongside Hachette Learning on our UK Secondary titles.
Will this rebrand impact my subscriptions?
No, you can still access your subscriptions to platforms such as Boost Insights, Boost Learning and SNAP in exactly the same way as before.
How has the rebrand affected your contact details?
All Hodder Education email domains have transitioned a new domain: @hachettelearning.com.
Has your website URL change?
Yes, our website URL has changed to www.hachettelearning.com.
If you have bookmarks or saved links to the old Hodder Education website, don’t worry – these will continue to work for now. Old URLs and email addresses will redirect to the new Hachette Learning site and contacts during the transition. However, please note that website redirects will be switched off at a later date in 2025, so we recommend updating your bookmarks and saved links.
Have your social media handles or profiles changed?
Yes, from 10th December our social media handles will change to:
Facebook: www.facebook.com/hachettelearning_
Instagram: www.instagram.com/hachettelearning_
LinkedIn: www.linkedin.com/company/hachette-learning
YouTube: www.youtube.com/@HachetteLearning

Will invoices or receipts look different?
No, you will still be invoiced by Hachette UK Distribution.
I’m a trade customer and have a trading agreement/contract with you. Does this need to be updated?
No, it’s only our trading name that is changing to Hachette Learning. The legal entity, Hodder and Stoughton, remains the same, so no changes are needed to existing contracts or agreements.
