Meet Boost Insights, the free essential data companion to our award-winning assessments. Built to provide schools with valuable insights into their learners' understanding, whilst cutting down the admin time associated with recording, inputting, monitoring and analysing data. Boost Insights will replace our current platform MARK in Autumn 2024.

• Analyse gaps in learning at a question and strand level to isolate areas of excellence and those in need of attention.
• Build a comprehensive profile of attainment in your school, including the percentage of learners working towards, at or above expected standard.
• Clear and intuitive reports make it easier than ever to share assessment data with internal and external stakeholders, such as senior leaders and parents. Clearly signposted comparisons to national averages and measures like Reading and Mathematics Ages help to explain a child's performance and evidence progress.

• We have designed a cleaner interface with clearer navigation and intelligent solutions, like enabling a single login across your Hodder Education platforms and favouriting your frequent assessments. The result? An easy-to-use and easy-to-learn intuitive platform, cutting the time needed to train new staff and making everyday tasks quicker to complete.  
• We've made a few key improvements to teachers' frequent data tasks to make them quicker:
• A new bulk marking feature on marksheets streamlines the process of manually inputting results from test papers.  
• Online assessments are easier to assign for classes and groups, and interactive credits are quicker to repurchase as and when you need them. 
• Analytical insights are clearly laid out within reports, making them simpler and easier to share with internal and external stakeholders.

We've updated our interactive assessments for Boost Insights, ensuring the very best standards of accessibility are met for pupils taking online tests, and simplifying the process for teachers setting them. With automated marking allowing for instant report generation and gap analysis, interactive assessments allow schools to eliminate their marking time.

Supporting whole-school improvement

Directly access diagnostically driven interventions.

Shine Interventions will be fully available on Boost Insights, completing our three-step approach to the assessment cycle.

Shine pinpoints learners’ areas of weakness and identifies candidates for interventions based on their diagnostic test results. It then provides links to tailored interventions, effectively plugging knowledge gaps and cutting out the need for intervention planning!

Plus, from September 2024 Shine will be launching into secondary schools, supporting learners aged up to 16 with our ART and AMT assessments!

Sync your test data for holistic pupil tracking.

We continue to work closely with our data partners to ensure a seamless integration with Boost Insights, so that schools can continue to sync their test data with their chosen Management Information System or share with their chosen Pupil Tracking system.

Gain MAT-wide insights.

With a MAT-specific login, MAT leaders will have access to the performance data in their schools, allowing for comparison of attainment across institutions, subjects and academic years. Identify key areas of strength to implement best practise across your schools, and help priorities areas in need of attention.
