How does Shine Interventions work?
Shine Interventions are accessed via Boost Insights.
Generate Grouped or Individual Intervention Reports with results from your chosen standardised assessments. Where knowledge gaps are found, links to targeted interventions are generated within the report.
Instantly identify knowledge gaps
Individual Intervention Reports highlight areas of weakness for a specific learner and provide links to relevant intervention resources to address their needs.
Grouped Intervention Reports identify learners with knowledge gaps and group them according to strand/learning area, providing links to the relevant intervention resources. Shine Interventions supplies each learner's raw score alongside the grouping to allow for teacher judgement.
Progress Quiz Reports* show how learners find certain strands after your interventions and enable you to track their progress during their interventions.

Effectively plug knowledge gaps
Printable learner worksheets target areas for improvement, address misconceptions and plug knowledge gaps.
Reading Skills and GPS interventions offer a range of original fiction and non-fiction texts to engage learners. An optional Online Modelling Responses Software version is also available with interactive answering and supporting audio for learners who struggle to engage with text.
Maths interventions feature a range of focused, hands-on activities to contextualise key learning areas with fun maths problems. Quizzes at the end of each intervention quickly measure understanding and help evidence impact.
With detailed teaching support
Prepare, Do, Review documents for each intervention includes suggested timings, teaching tips, potential stumbling blocks and a summary of skills being targeted.
Accompanying Teaching Notes provide step-by-step guidance to steer discussions, answer questions and reflect on learning. This supports successful delivery from all staff members, regardless of subject knowledge.
