SNAP-SpLD
Identify up to 20 Specific Learning Difficulties and remove barriers to learning with targeted interventions. For ages 4–16.
SNAP-SpLD is a unique online tool that profiles 20 Specific Learning Difficulties, providing a bank of resources and strategies to support learners in and out of the classroom.

SNAP-SpLD will help you build a Core Profile of a learner:
- Three questionnaires to help gather information about a learner from three sources: the learner, the learner's parent or carer, and the teacher.
- Eight short diagnostic probes that provide additional evidence about the SEN learner and their abilities. The Diagnostic Probes are available for learners 7+.
- Profiles 20 Specific Learning Difficulties, more than any other tool.
- Follows the Assess-Plan-Do-Review model from the SEND Code of Practice 2014.
