About the Authors

Trevor Dixon

Trevor has over 35 years’ teaching experience and has been a maths coordinator in three primary schools, as well as working as an advanced skills teacher. He has worked as a marker of Key Stage 2 (KS2) mathematics National Tests for over 20 years and, in recent years, as a team leader. Trevor has written maths questions for the UK National Tests for both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 and has been a member of Expert Review panels reviewing National Test questions, test papers and mark schemes for England's Standards and Testing Agency (UK Department for Education). 


In addition, Advancing Primary Mathematics Assessments have been reviewed by an international panel of classroom teachers and ESL experts.
